This retreat was put on by Jeanette Chardon, owner of Mind Body Spa Retreats and Classes.

Jeanette’s son, Isaiah cooked for us. He did a wonderful job and was a real trooper putting up with nine women of a more “mature” age! His presence added to the group and brought the male energy alive.

Polly Maliongas led the retreat with her many years of experience in Qigong. Polly is an incredible healer, using the eastern medicines of acupuncture, herbs, energy work and Qigong. She sets the tone of the retreat with her professionalism, calm but fun demeanor, and expertise in all that she does. This time she taught the “Six Sounds Therapy.” This healing therapy helps to cleanse all the internal organs and keep them clear and healthy. She teaches the full method as well as an abridged version that can be used on a daily basis.

LuAnna Gratzer offered an Ion Cleanse foot soak for participants of the retreat, which helps cleanse the body of toxins. Everyone who did the foot soak was amazed at the toxins that came out of their body.

Susan Van Wie offered Reiki and Oracle Card readings to the participants to help clear the mind and spirit as well as to guide them on their path or journey of life.

As with all Jeanette’s retreats, the days start with Meditation and Yoga, and ends with drumming and dancing. Once again, it was a great weekend, full of healing and generous people.
